Album Cover Photography for Håkon Brunborg’s Single "Alba"

I’m excited to share the new album cover for Norwegian recording artist Håkon Brunborg and his single Alba. This project was a thoughtful creative collaboration that unfolded in my photography studio in Oslo.

The shoot was styled by Norwegian fashion stylist Bella Mørk, who brought a subtle but impactful visual direction that gave the portrait its tone and elegance. After we captured the original image in studio, I printed the photograph, submerged it in water, and re-photographed it. The water added texture, movement, and a gentle distortion that gave the final image a dreamlike, tactile quality.

This approach allowed us to create a layered image that mirrors the layered nature of the music. The process was slow and intuitive, and I am grateful to collaborate with artists like Håkon who are open to exploring experimental techniques in music photography and album artwork
